· Congratulations to Dan West for making it to the semi finals of the O’35 category of last week’s British Open. Dan narrowly lost to the eventual winner.

· Horsham Squash Club reunion from 7pm 29th July @ the club. For those who do not know, we have been part of Horsham Sports Club since 1997 and the previous club was behind The Capitol. We are hosting a function for past and current members and it would be great if we could get as many current members there to fly the flag to show we are keeping their legacy going. The evening will include food and live music (featuring the Danny Lee Band, former club no1 and world top 30 player) and a donation to Cancer Research for £22.50 per head. There will be a raffle on the night to raise a further donation, so please bring some cash! If you would like to attend, please contact Trish Law trish@trishandroger.com

· Lighting! This is very much an on going saga and we are well aware of the repeated failing of the lights. Please advise the office whenever another light is flickering. We are working with the Sports Club’s Management Committee to resolve this issue and the remaining lights that need repair are really hard to reach with limited access.

· Coaching, we hope to make an announcement shortly about Vince’s replacement.

· Don’t forget the AGM, 8pm on 7th July. We have chosen that date and time to run straight after club night when a good number of members will already be at the club.

Office PS - Don't forget that it is The Big Gig this Saturday (24th). Courts are not available from Midday onwards. There will be limited parking at the club on Saturday, and is only available for those playing in the morning or helping at the event (please be directed by the steward on the main entrance). If you are free and would like to help steward then it's not too late to offer - please reply to this email and we'll be in touch. Thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation.
