Dear [[first name]]
There a couple of changes to the rules & procedures when the club reopens tomorrow, they are:
- Members can play any other member. The squash bubbles system has now been removed.
- Doubles play is allowed (the max number of people allowed on court is now 4).
- Spectators (max 6) people are allowed to sit and watch play. Please note this does NOT include players. Spectators use the top two sitting tiers, with the bottom 1 being left for the players. Social distancing must be maintained at all times.
- Changing room facilities should be available for use, the office will email all the Squash members tomorrow outlining how they should be utilised.
All the other Covid19 rules and procedures that members signed up to are still in place and can be found below.
When you arrive at the club you will need to use the cricket player door and then the screen next to the office and please remember to social distance and wear your mask on.
Best Regards,
Horsham Squash Club Committee

listed (for track & trace purposes as per existing booking rules).
Court booking times will remain 40 minutes long, but each court
will have a different start time.
- Players can ONLY arrive and enter the court area 5 minutes before
they are due to play (changing facilities tbc).
- On arrival players must enter via the cricket players entrance next to the office, use the hand sanitiser by the touch screen and check in on it. They must wear a face mask on into the court area.
- On walking into the court area players who have booked court 1 or 2
must use the walk through the corridor between the two courts and
those who have booked court 3 must use the far one.
- Players must not touch the corridor walll, but can use the bottom tier of seating and are not allowed to do a warm up outside the court (this should be done prior to arrival at the club).
- There will be hand santiser, anti-bacterial wipes & paper towels
located behind each court. All used wipes & towels must be put be
in the bins provided.
- Any personal waste wrappers, water bottle etc must be taken home.
- Only one player should open or close the court door and all
personal equipment must be taken on court.
- Hands must not be wiped on the courts walls, glass back or floor.
If a player accidently touches any court surface or drops sweat on
the floor, they should stop & immediately wipe the area touched
with an anti-bacterial wipe and sanitise their hand.
- Players must vacate the court once their 40 minute session is up,
collecting their equipment, with one player wiping down the door
handle both inside and out (wipes will be left outside the court +
a bin to put them into).
- If players decide to use the bar (should changing facilities not be available), they must towel down and change their t-shirt.
- Finally, players should use the hand santiser (located with the
wipes) and then leave the court area WITHIN 5 MINUTES of the end of
their session, wearing their face mask and either exit the club or
go into the bar area.
Club Facilities
- Changing / showering facilities tbc.
- Toilets are located at the far end of the club next to the kitchen.
- The water fountain will not be available, so players will need to
bring their own water/drink.

- Members that develop Covid19 symptoms whilst at the club must,
maintain social distancing, return home if safe to do so and manage
their symptoms in line with the relevant advice; or if unable to
travel home safely they should isolate from others, contact someone
from their household and make safe arrangements. If this is not
possible then they should phone 111 and follow instructions.
