Report from the Men's 2 Captain Joel Message

Firstly a huge thank you and congratulations to all of the below who played Team II squash this season. Each and every player gave 100% in their matches and secured vital points. I don’t want to single anyone out but I must give a special mention to Brendan who played most matches at first string with some incredible and enduring rallies, he carried the team and was a joy to watch.

Secondly, winning the league by such few points emphasises how competitive it was and without the home support we received, would have made those games all that tougher to win so I’d like to thank each person who came along for their support. A special thanks to Daryl who went one step further and supported us at most away games!

Lastly, there are club members not mentioned who made themselves available to play which is a nice headache to have when selecting teams. I’m keen to get a third team going next season, in this division, and get those itching to play, more regularly. Anyone who is interested in running the third team please contact Vince or myself.
